Americade 2007

In June of 2007 I took my first trip to Americade, the largest motorcycle touring rally in the US. It's estimated there were 40,000 bikes in attendance over the course of the week. I packed my camping gear and rode up on a Tuesday, and stayed until Sunday.

these are my day-by-day write-ups on the whole week.

Interesting bikes and the Canada Street scene

There were tens of thousands of bikes in attendance, and I
spent most nights checking out the scene on Canada Street
where everyone gathered to show off.

Videos

Both the digicams take movies, so I've got a bunch in
Quicktime and AVI formats. Warning - you better have
broadband .

Maps

My Garmin 2610 GPS captured a lot of tracks, and some routes
I recreated from memory.

Demo Rides

I rode 4 demos on one day, and 7 on another. Lots of great
bikes, only one bad one.
